Description

The “Cybersecure NB” program aims to enhance the understanding and importance of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI) through dedicated training and informational sessions. This provisional initiative designed to fully reimburse Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) for their expenses, up to a limit of $3,000, to bolster their cybersecurity and AI capabilities within their business operations, utilizing local expertise and services.

ELIGIBILITY

Only (one) 1 grant per registered business

Business must be registered and headquartered in New Brunswick Is a for-profit business.

Must commit to maintaining strategy/adoption for at least six months after participating in the program.

Must consent to participating in follow-up surveys, sharing information with the Government of Canada, and having the name of the business published as a recipient of funding.

Must have had at least $30,000 in annual revenue in the most recent tax year.  

The following types of small businesses are ineligible:

Corporate chains, franchises, licensed brands, or registered charities.

Representatives of multi-level marketing companies.

A brokerage firm and their agents. (real estate, investment, insurance, etc.)

Businesses that engage in online reselling or drop-shipping businesses reliant on third-party suppliers.
